    Mark Stebbins

    CHAIRMAN & CEO

    Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PROCON, Mark R. Stebbins is the third generation to lead the family business in its 80 year existence.  Mark graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH with a degree in Economics and worked as a loan officer for the Chase Manhattan Bank right after graduation. When Mark took the leadership position at PROCON, the company performed construction services only and had sales of less than $5 Million. Along with President, John Samenfeld, Mark transformed the company into the largest Design and Construction company in the Northeast, with over 40 design professionals and over 120 construction professionals.   PROCON expects to have sales in excess of $200 Million in 2015. Stebbins also is one of the managing partners in one of the largest hotel development and management companies in the Northeast, XSS Hotels, with a pipeline of over 20 projects. Stebbins and PROCON are dedicated to a long history of giving back to the community in which employees live and work.  This comes in the form of generous donations of time and money. Stebbins is a past Chairman of the Mental Health Center for Manchester, NH and past member of the Executive Board of the Elliott Health System.

    Vice Chairman

    John Samenfeld is the Vice Chairman of PROCON and has led the company for over 40 years. Under his and Mark Stebbins vision and leadership, PROCON has grown into a $200 million fully integrated design build firm that provides a full range of architectural design and construction management services in all levels of corporate, commercial & institutional building projects throughout the Northeast. As President, John is involved in many of PROCON’s major projects from concept to completion. His 40 years of experience are an invaluable asset in providing consistent leadership throughout all phases of the design and construction process. From the early stages of preconstruction through completion, John and his staff work diligently to ensure the principles and values established by PROCON are maintained to the highest level of detail, and customer satisfaction. John has been a Director at the Easter Seals of NH since 1985, Chairman of Bow Economic Development Corporation, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees at New England College and a director of the Manchester Boys and GirlsClub and past Director of the Associated General Contractors. John graduated from New England College in Henniker, NH.

  • Lance Bennett

    Co-President

    Lance Bennett is a Co-President of PROCON and has over 34 years of construction experience, 30 with PROCON. He is responsible for overseeing the success of each construction project by supporting the Owner, Construction Team, and directly with the PROCON Project Manager and lead Superintendent. Lance interfaces with the Owner as early as possible and monitors the progress throughout the project. Prior to construction, he works closely with the Design Team reviewing constructability, scheduling, and coordination issues, and with Estimating developing schedules, qualifying subcontractors, and reviewing buyout strategies and value engineering options. During construction Lance attends Owners and Subcontractors meetings, reinforces jobsite safety, and reviews schedule status and quality control. Lance also serves on PROCON’s Executive Management Team which is responsible for establishing PROCON’s strategic direction and financial goals. Lance graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s of Science degree.

  • Jim Loft

    Jim Loft is a Co-President of PROCON and holds registered architect licenses in CA, CT, FL, ME, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI and VT and is NCARB registered. Jim is the leader of PROCON’s architectural and engineering team that is responsible for project development, client relations, architectural design, and oversees the full range of services. Jim has been with PROCON since 1996 and offers over 32 years of design experience in a broad range of building types including commercial, education, hospitality, multi-family residential, senior living and industrial. Some of his most notable designs include Renaissance Hotel at Patriot Place in Foxborough, MA; Chase Hall at Gordon College in Wenham, MA; Portwalk Place in Portsmouth, NH and the Volpe Athletic Center at Merrimack College.  Jim graduated from University of Kansas School of Architecture with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design and Architecture and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects including the past president of AIA NH and an active volunteer with local community organizations and church boards.

    Bruce Desmarais is PROCON’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and has been with PROCON for over 23 years. Bruce is responsible for managing PROCON’s day-to-day financial, administrative, HR, legal and information technology teams. As Chief Financial Officer, he negotiates credit agreements; oversee our risk management and insurance programs, along with his main priority of ensuring our financial strength which affords us virtually unlimited bonding capacity. Bruce also serves on PROCON’s Executive Management Team which is responsible for establishing PROCON’s strategic direction and financial goals. Bruce majored in Accounting with a minor in Data Processing at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI.

  • Dan Dal Pra

    Dan Dal Pra

    Executive Vice President – Preconstruction Services|Estimating

    Dan Dal Pra is the Executive Vice President of Preconstruction Services and Estimating and has been with PROCON since 1977. From predesign to GMP, Dan coordinates estimating services and is the main conduit through which information flows regarding pricing and value engineering. During the construction phase, he continues to be a part of the project team, monitoring costs and schedules. Some of his notable projects include Oracle Corporation in Nashua, NH; Merrimack College Volpe Athletic Center and dorms in North Andover, MA; Renaissance by Marriot at Patriot Place, Foxboro, MA; AVIV Center for Learning skilled nursing facility in Peabody, MA and Wiggins Aviation Fuel Farm, Manchester/Boston Regional Airport. Dan also serves on PROCON’s Executive Management Team which is responsible for establishing PROCON’s strategic direction and financial goals. Dan studied at Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire.

  • Dave Raiche

    Dave Raiche

    Senior Vice President – Field Operations

    Dave Raiche is the Senior Vice President of Field Operations and has 41 years of experience in the construction industry. Dave has been with PROCON for over 34 years where he has been involved with many of PROCON’s most challenging projects, with an emphasis on fast-track schedules. During the preconstruction phase, Dave works with the team to complete a constructability analysis, on-site investigation, safety analysis and scheduling to ensure all projects complete on or ahead of schedule. During construction, he executes the most efficient jobsite, maintaining the established work schedule and ensuring a high level of quality upon completion. He also works closely with the project superintendent in producing schedule updates and project progress reports. Dave has his OSHA 30-hour construction and CPR/AED/First Aid certifications and has completed additional training on subjects such as Fall Protection.

    Senior Vice President – Project Executive

    Dan Messier is the Senior Vice President and Project Executive at PROCON.  Dan has 32 years of construction experience and has been with PROCON since 1984. His communication skills are second to none and he is often called upon to work with the public to answer questions and mitigate any issues. As the project executive, Dan reviews the various scopes of work to ensure inclusion of all required manpower and material, participates in pricing or bidding out these scopes to multiple qualified subcontractors, and presents the best value options to the client. Upon awarding contracts, Dan communicates with the entire project team and client, as the project progresses Dan continuously reviews and tracks jobs costs, oversees the project manager, assists in scheduling subcontractor manpower and material on-site deliveries to ensure that every project stays within or under budget and on or ahead of schedule. Dan is the past President and Vice President of Associated General Contractors of NH and graduated from NH Vocational College with a degree in Building Construction Technology.

  • Matthew Wirth

    Matthew Wirth is the Senior Vice President of Architecture and has been with PROCON since 1998. Matt is responsible for managing architectural design, construction documents, specifications, and other design and engineering professional services. Matt has over 30 years of design experience in a broad range of building types, with an emphasis in multi-family, institutional, residential, commercial, and educational designs. Some of Matt’s notable projects include Chase Hall at Gordon College in Wenham, MA; Ironwood on the Green at Ferncroft and the Villas at Ironwood in Middleton, MA; F.W. Webb Distribution Warehouse in Amherst, NH; Phillips Academy Ice Rink in Andover, MA; Renaissance Hotel and Spa at Patriot Place in Foxborough, MA; Custom House Square Office Building in Portland, ME and West Street Hotel in Bar Harbor, ME. Matt graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelor of Environmental Design and has attended Harvard Graduate School of Design for continuing education courses. 

  • Phil Germain

    Phil Germain

    Senior Vice President – Preconstruction Services|Estimating

    Phil Germain is the Senior Vice President of Preconstruction Services and Estimating and has been with PROCON for over 20 years and has 26 years of estimating experience. Phil manages the estimating team that provides conceptual estimates, value engineering, scope development, and the competitive bidding process. Phil works with the design team from concept to contract signing, and maintains cost control of subcontractors and design details to assure that the final GMP is within or under the owner’s budget. Phil has delivered the following project budgets within or under budget: Waterford Place, Manchester, NH; 6 Brightview Assisted Living facilities throughout the Northeast; Endicott Green elegant apartment living in Danvers, MA; Summit Place apartments in Methuen, MA and Ironwood luxury apartments in Middleton, MA. Phil graduated from New Hampshire Vocational Technical School with an Associate in Electro/Mechanical Drafting and has completed Timberline Precision Estimating training.

    Vice President of Finance

    Gregg Crowell is PROCON’s Vice President of Finance and has been with the Company since 2005. He is a strategic thinker with over 35 years of diverse expertise in the financial field. Gregg attended Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, is a Certified Public Accountant, and began his financial career working as a bank auditor. As the Vice President of Finance, he is responsible for the oversight and management of all fiscal aspects of PROCON and its affiliates, to include tax strategies, tax planning, and governmental agency compliances. 

  • Erik Anderson, AIA, LEED AP

    Erik Anderson, AIA, LEED AP

    Vice President - Architecture

    Erik Anderson holds registered architect licenses in NY, NJ, CT, MA and NH and is NCARB registered. Erik is a LEED Accredited Professional with over 25 years of experience in building types ranging from senior living and multi-family housing to high rise commercial buildings and aviation facilities. His responsibilities include managing PROCON’s senior living design group and he assists with the overall management of the architectural division. He works closely with the client, project architect, project manager, engineers and estimators to ensure a successful project completion on time and within budget. Some of Erik’s notable projects are Brightview Canton in Canton, MA, Brightview on New Canaan in Norwalk, CT, Alpha Flying in Portsmouth, NH and Hammondswood at Chestnut Hill, a luxury condominium complex in Brookline, MA. Erik graduated from the NJ Institute of Technology with a Master’s Degree in Architecture. 

  • Kent Beirne, AIA

    Vice President - Architecture

    Kent Beirne is a registered architect, licensed in the State of New Hampshire. He joined PROCON in 2006 as a project architect and has over 30 years of design experience in a broad range of design and architectural management arenas. Kent’s area of responsibility includes management of the architectural design teams, with an emphasis in hospitality, but also in senior housing, institutional, residential, commercial, educational, retail and office building designs. Some of Kent’s notable projects at PROCON include The Woodlands in Bristol, CT (never constructed); Courtyard in Keene, NH; Residence Inn Portsmouth, NH; Residence Inn in Chelsea, MA; Residence Inn in Needham, MA; Fairfield Inn and Suites in Cambridge, MA; AC Hotels in Medford, MA; Hilton Garden Inn in Foxborough, MA; Homewood Suites in Chelsea, MA; Hilton Garden Inn in Lebanon, NH. Kent received his professional architect licensure in 2002 after working for licensed architects in California, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
